For the pre-season holidays, at the end of May, in Paralia you’ll need an amount of 80 euros for 10 days, in average. This northern Greece resort is located at the bottom of Mount Olympus and is famous for its variety of sandy beaches with crystal clear water. It is extremely suitable for families with children thanks to a large area of shallow waters, while at the same time offering great night life due to the abundance of bars and clubs.

The sandy beach of Paralia is 6km long and extends up to the Olympic beach. It also has a very affordable price, at 80 euros for 10 nights. The Olympic beach, as well as the whole region, is distinguished by warm sea and pleasant climate with light winds from the Olympus. This place is full of taverns, cafes, shops and boutiques.

Leptokarya is an exceptionally visited tourist resort on the shores of the Aegean Sea, 80km from Thessaloniki. It is recommended for travelling with children because it is exceptionally quiet, and less suitable for those who want a wild night life. Ten nights in the “first minute” offer amount up to 95 euros.

Platamon, as its name suggests, is a holiday resort with a plateau of trees, greenery, located along a beautiful long beach. The most recognizable landmark of this place is the Byzantine Platamon castle from the 12th century. 10 nights in pre-season in this place would amount up to 70 euros.

The last resort of the Olympic region is Nei Pori. It is only a few kilometers away from Platamon, and is one of the newly built resorts. It’s especially suitable for families with children due to incredibly large parts of the sea with shallow waters. The price for 10 nights in this place is 80  euros.

The first arrangements start from mid-May. In June, July and August arrangements are more expensive.
