Ruyi Bridge is an amazing attraction, located in eastern China. It represents a bridge with an interesting design and evokes exciting feelings at first glance. It is built at an altitude of 140 meters and offers a beautiful view of China. The bridge was built in Shenxianju Valley, Zhejiang Province. This modern edifice is 100 meters long, and the shape and design of the bridge is made to look like a ruyi, an object used in Chinese rituals. The name Ruyi itself was derived from a Chinese talisman that is curved and is a symbol of good luck and good energy.
China and the whole of Asia are full of buildings and bridges with different and unusual looks, but what sets this bridge apart from the others is the uniqueness of the structure, since the bridge complex consists of three different bridges that are paved with glass. The futuristic look of the bridge represents completed waves that fit into this valley of nature. It was designed by the Chinese architect He Yunchang, who participated in the design of the national stadium in Beijing in 2008 for the Olympic Games. Planning for the construction of this bridge began in 2017, and was completed three years later.
The bridge was opened to the public in September 2020 and in a very short time became an attraction of this Chinese region. It quickly gained enormous popularity, as more than 200,000 people visited it in less than three months. This engineering masterpiece has attracted the bravest to experience the thrill of standing 140 meters above the ground on the glass bridge and enjoying the beauty of the Shenxianju Valley.
